I was delighted to represent @KPlasticspact last week, visiting and meeting with the Founders and CEOs of our plastics recycling partners Ecoville Enterprise Ltd and @PaversGreen, who play a vital role in our #KPPRoadmapTo2030.

Particularly, the objectives of the National Plastics Center at the Danish EPA, is closely aligned with the activities of the @KPlasticspact as outlined in the #KPPRoadmapTo2030.

Target 4 of the #KPPRoadmapTo2030 looks to have 15% average recycled content across all plastic packaging. @KPlasticspact aims to address the barriers to circularity in the plastic packaging sector through public-private partnerships. Here are the key outputs of target 4👇

#DYK the full amount of plastic that becomes waste in Kenya is approximately 0.5 to 1.3 million tonnes per year. Out of this, only 8% is recycled, with the remainder being landfilled or incinerated – or in the worst-case scenario, ending up in the environment #KPPRoadmapTo2030
