On October 15th, the #KigaliAmendment to the Montreal Protocol marked its 7th anniversary since adoption. Currently, 155/198 parties have ratified the Amendment, with the commitment to phasing down climate warming HFCs & adopting more energy efficient & green cooling technology.

Came back from #Kabul. The de facto government of #Afghanistan approved the #KigaliAmendment. I hope the ratification process will be recognized and complete soon. I heard that USAID will resume its projects. There are still a lot of HCFC-22 widely used. #MontrealProtocol
