#LabUpdate I am on the journey home & have phone data again; I'll be back to work tomorrow I intend to finish adding LVFC clients to my Trello queue first, then continue processing FE orders with missing info & reviewing other messages as my ability/spoons/time allows

#LabUpdate "Bird" was the first Metamorphic decal I ever finished, right before the pandemic lockdown Back when I didn't know what I was doing with my software, my process, my direction... So 4 years & 80+ species later, I finally gave my oldest one the makeover it deserved ✨

#LabUpdate File -> Save As -> "andraconix_Rise_THICC.svg" This is adjustment #4 of my "Rise" shirt design, but I'm finally calling it complete! Took me awhile to identify all the problem areas & find a balance in line weight for both DTF printing & UV-reactive vinyl versions

#LabUpdate My "Metamorphic" designs have had a metamorphosis! Adjusted the line weight (again), created new templates & made a universal style guide—parameters such as determining placement/scale for each kind & size of product Now faster to do commission mockups & file prep!🧵

#LabUpdate So busy working I forgot to post this the other day! This pile represents 84 cut designs for nearly all the vinyl shirts currently on my queue (42 shirts, double-layered) Planning the layout takes time, as I try to make full use of the material to create less waste

As many of you know, I've been buried by my queue most of the year. Health struggles & a major surgery took away months of viable work time So for September & October, I am setting some goals to get back on track! I will update this tracker at the start of each week #LabUpdate

I'll do the XING signs on stream tomorrow; been spending all of today cutting more shirt designs! Now it's time to weed all 35 of them 🙃 ("Weeding" refers to the process of taking a dentistry-like tool w/ a sharp hook & removing negative spaces) #LabUpdate

Warranty replacement machine is being unboxed now! I have to head to ANW tonight for table setup, but in the meantime working on as many orders as I can This cutter is much better suited for the 🚸 project, since it can multi-pass different depths—helps align vinyl #LabUpdate

GOAL!!! Somehow (?) I cranked through *60* shirts in a few days; thanks ADHD I'll be verifying addresses or convention pickup options for completed orders Vinyl cutting machine is also getting replaced under warranty. I can finally see light at the end of this tunnel #LabUpdate
