You can be really bad at CS and still "good" at leetcode (memorization/cheating). It's a terrible interviewing mechanism and is primarily used to bring in numbers over actual talent. Pure laziness on the tech interviewers
i feel like this is more of a joke because inverting a binary tree is the classic example of a silly puzzle question that isn't relevant to actual work most of the time also even if this is true, it's totally valid not to be able to do leetcode if you aren't fresh out of school
#Day153 of #LearningInPublic Today's @LeetCode POTD :- 955. Delete Columns to Make Sorted II Greedy column-by-column build. Append a column only if it keeps the rows lexicographically non-decreasing; otherwise rollback. Subtle upgrade over 944, but same clean thinking.
LeetCode is gay. It’s homework for interviews. I think the key is realizing that most problems we’re working on have most likely already been solved before, so if you can’t come up with something nice, no shame in looking it up, especially as things get more complex.

Fun week of coding "git rewind", a privacy-sensitive #WASM / @sveltejs / @libgit2 webapp that gives you a 'year in review' for your #git repo.
Been off #DSA for a while, but while learning OS, the LeetCode 1114 — Print in Order — caught my eye 👀 Coded it today & brushed up on mutex, semaphore, and condition variables. Learnt why a turn variable is key for order! 🔄 Time to regain momentum 💪 #Coding #OS #LeetCode

The year was 2020, and I was actively interviewing for a new job. I had to lock in with LeetCode. I went from struggling for hours on a single question to solving most problems in under 15 minutes and I was rewarded with a role in Microsoft.
What’s the most unhinged thing you’ve done to get ahead?

Leetcode has around 1800 medium and 800 hard. Total ~ 2600 Thinking of completing this platform. If we take 4 qsn per day then it takes around 2 yrs to wipeout entire leetcode. I guess this is a good way to kill sometime so lets do this. True leetcode maxxing🗿
