Our #LocalOcean #MarineHub started off as a #CoconutPlantation. With only #CoconutTrees in sight. It’s now a vibrant forested (mostly #indigenous) #garden and in spite of the drought it’s blooming again with the recent rains.

Luckily a very supportive plot owner agreed that the nest must stay in situ on their path. Something #LocalOcean tries as much as possible to do. Just past sunrise she made her way back to the #ocean, watched by our nest monitors, crew and a few lucky early morning walkers.

Every time a nesting Mama comes up on our beach to nest it gives us a thrill that has not in the slightest bit diminished with time. This Mama was one of our extra special Nesters. She was a return Nester that #LocalOcean had tagged in 2007!
