An interesting intervention from Didik Budijanto about the NTDs context in Indonesia. He talked about community level involvement in disease outbreaks which has been critical, info sharing through social media but also the challenges with integration. #MEFramework #BeatNTDs

"The idea is to bring all data assets into one and harmonise those data sets and make this data accessible. The idea is to avoid duplication and burden to countries and create a common data set for all to work with", said Dr Somnath Chatterji @WHO launch of #MEframework #BeatNTDs

"Cross-cutting indicators can help to promote sustainability bringing a message to other sectors [WASH, agriculture], and having common indicators that impact all of them will help to bring other sectors into the agenda." Dr Meritxell Donadeu #MEframework @WHO #BeatNTDs

Three priorities mentioned by Patrick Lammie @WHO #MEframework launch: 1. Harmonisation: 20NTDs, 20 frameworks- important to look at the indicators and definitions and to start using similar survey methodologies to help improve the collection of data to facilitate integration.
