I was drawing on this example that I use in my #MacIntroPsych class when we discuss the human ability to effortlessly categorize exemplars. Things get tricky when asked if the following items are sandwiches: pizza, tacos, hot dogs...

I've noticed that #MacIntroPsych students *really* want to connect and be heard in this year of online learning. In lecture today, we had about 300 questions and comments in an hour! The question that evoked the most comments "Is a pizza a sandwich?"

Our first ever online final exam for #MacIntroPsych went very smoothly. As expected for an open-book, collaborative final, grades were higher than usual (+8%) and with over 2000 students, not a single internet concern! Here's how they did on the final bonus question.
