Just went out in the moonlight to take down our winter wreath. Part of my Yuletide rituals since 2018 when your #makingwinter kindly showed me that you don't have to be a fancy schmancy florist to make them and, to misquote the technicolour one - any green will do. Thank you.

I have seen mixed flocks of redwings and fieldfares (see @RobGMacfarlane’s tweet this morning) too distant to photograph. They were chattering loudly and feeding on the remaining hawthorn berries. Here’s my drawing of a redwing from #makingwinter
