#MasoreticNotes 4: Masora Parva (Mp) cont. The pic shows a page of the #AleppoCodex (containing the stunning #Psalm98 which I've been thinking about recently). The highlighted annotations are Mp notes. Many (not all!) Mp notes count things (the green-ringed ones are not counts)
#MasoreticNotes Lesson 3: Mp continued. So, the 'leit' note is the simplest of the counting notes: just one occurrence. If some textual feature occurs 2ce, this is marked with a ב in the margin; 3 times - ג, and so on. How high can the numbers go?
