Both roles are important and they are needed in the community because; ◾The CM faces the pressure. The moderators face the community. ◾The CM guides the community. The moderator protects the community. ◾Community Managers create rules. Moderators enforce rules.


Moderators see the individual messages. They focus on the details: 🤔“Is this member breaking rules?” 🤔“Is this conversation getting too heated?” 🤔“Is that link safe?” They operate close to the community’s pulse. Without moderators, chaos happens fast.


➡️Role Of Moderator As a Moderator, 🤝You enforce rules 🤝Remove spam 🤝Respond to basic questions 🤝Handle small conflicts 🤝Monitor conversations 🤝Protect members from scammers 🤝Maintain order It’s hands-on. Fast-paced. Reactive. You deal with what’s happening now.

Hiring more moderaters doesn't fix the damage. Not stricter moderation but stricter hire requirements. We need quality moderaters who are willing to put in effort to analyze the problem and execute them. Mods who actually see that all of the filth in there is to be seriously-
