Pre-select high-speed parts Knowing fᵣ early means we can flag 10 G / 25 G / 50 G-capable DML & EML chips before packaging. No wasted integration on slow devices. #Optoelectronics #SemiconductorTesting #ModulationBandwidth #EML #DML

AI Datacenter networks often use transceivers that can deliver speeds of up to 800 Gigabits/s per transceiver utilizing 8 fiber pairs (8 lanes of 100 Gigabits/s each). In contrast, far more bandwidth can fit onto a single fiber pair in telecom networks - up to 51.2 Petabits/s in…

This is pretty fascinating, an electro-optic modulator that spans from MHz to THz. “In this work, we present a broadband EO modulator operating from 10 MHz to 1.14 THz. This device features a 3 dB EO bandwidth of 997 GHz, which, to the best of our knowledge, is the largest…

Mysterious new signal around here at 424.813MHz. FM modulated, 12.5KHz bandwidth, 2FSK subcarrier at 1800Hz with 1200Hz deviation. Data is 2400baud, sync word is 0xE5FF9F (3 bytes exact), followed by 4 bytes of data. No encoding or FEC appears to be used. Anyone know what it is?

I wonder why "150MHz" is in the title? I mean, it is making noise on 150MHz, but also every other harmonic of 50MHz.

Wait a second. What in the world is this signal that is sweeping across +40 MHz in the 2.4GHz band?

We just released 2023.02 which unlocks 122.88MHz instantaneous bandwidth on the bladeRF 2.0 micro! Just a quick software upgrade to watch all of Bluetooth at once! nuand.com/2023-02-releas…

1/ @mcuban you are mostly talking about Wi-Fi here. Wi-Fi generally speaking is short range, high bandwidth. Cellular is long range and lower bandwidth. Our Dynamic Network supports both. We are using IAB release 16 3gpp on the cellular side and for Wi-Fi we utilise 802.11s.

Next, the bi-phase modulator modules encoded digital telemetry data for transmission to ground. Sine waves, normal or inverted, indicate 0 or 1 bits. (I.e. two different phases). For redundancy, there were two modulator modules. The metal box is a 1.024 MHz bandpass filter.

Well that was unexpected... Just two weeks after the 2.5GHz NYC launch, @TMobile upgrades the NR bandwidth from 40 to 60MHz! NR spectral efficiency further improves... 1.2Gbps. 😳

I mean 5Ghz WiFi band thing is most midrange to budget smartphones just give 2.4Ghz WiFi band support which is okay up to 50Mbps but if you have higher broadband speed you really need 5ghz wifi band to take advantage of those speeds.

Problem is only some high end smartphones support N300 speeds on 2.4ghz most other support basic N150 band hence max out around 40-45 mbps

携帯の電波の周波数は700〜900MHzで、業務用ワイヤレスマイクはだいたい800MHz帯なので、近い周波数同士がぶつかると、ブチブチ音が途切れる最悪は音が無くなるという現象が起こります。
