We are adding more @Prusa3D Core ONE #3DPrinters into our Print farm. We have boxes everywhere, but so easy to get them running straight out of the box 👍 These new Core ONE machines are keeping up with #Multisystem2 production printing.
We will have a video update on the Multisystem 2 development on Monday 17th February 2025. Until then, please watch the teaser trailer... Feel free to speculate and let us know if you are excited for the no compromise - highly expandable #Multisystem2 FPGA Retro Gaming console.
The #Multisystem2 enclosure is starting to feel like a good direction for the design, tried a few different ideas for style and expansion modules. It’s a nice low profile compared to the first multisystem. Still not a quite sure I like the hexagon… I’ll keep refining it.
The 3D Print farm is running really well and keeping up with #Multisystem2 production, we have added more Prusa Core ONE #3DPrinters and are preparing enclosures ready for electronics and production testing. We are still expecting to start shipments of orders in August as planned

The #Multisystem2 tower of power is slightly more compact than the Sega mega set. 😎 Slice expansion tray design for Multisystem2 is completed allowing 2x CTRLDock boards, mass storage or other expansion. Main enclosure revisions are also almost complete.

The Cave Museum had a donation of a Saturn 3D analogue controller pad at the weekend, so we tested it out on the #Multisystem2 using the Saturn SNAC adaptor cartridge, it worked perfectly and we were treated to a masterclass playing Nights into Dreams by our wonderful visitors.

Just to be clear as we are often too subtle about our teaser product details. #Multisystem2 is a complete MiSTerFPGA Gaming console, It does not require a DE10-nano or clone FPGA board & does not require any I/O boards or RAM. Everything is all-in-one on the main motherboard
The #Multisystem2 prototype boards are now assembled with components. A few quick snaps to show how nice they look. Note the Full sized SD card slot because no one really likes using microSD. We will start the testing stage & let you know how that goes. Stay tuned. #Development

After day 1 of PSU testing, clock configuration and setup. Do you think the all-in-one #Multisystem2 Issue 1 (prototype 10 layer PCB) console FPGA #RetroGaming board is running at all? How confident are you in us? A - Total disaster! B - Not running yet. C - It's all good 👍
It's all running 👍 Starting to test all cores now, Gameboy & AO486. The memory test is happy to run the SDRAM at 160Mhz so that's a great indication of design stability. Also a first look at the #Multisystem2 enclosure that Richard is designing.
