Silver Cones, Dunmore Cave, Kilkenny, Late 10th Century AD. These objects were made of silver wire & probably belong to a single garment which they were used to fasten. Chequered & quartered patterns. The tread is a very thinly wound silver wire. #museumobjects #nmiobjects
