Our results demonstrate that Al sputtering deposition is an excellent and simpler route for synthesizing high quality superconducting infinite-layer nickelates. We hope this encourages more research groups to explore the synthesis of these samples! #nickelates

In the last months @IPCMSlab we had lots of fun in releasing #nickelates #membranes from their host substrates. We got clear indications that strain is indispensable to have Infinite-layer with expected transport properties. Still working on it… arxiv.org/abs/2405.10644
