Blackstone would tell you that you're full of shit. If he's non compos, he can't legally form the intent to commit the crime; no crime, no punishment. He can be civilly confined until he's well (which he'll never be). But it would be unjust to execute him.

Because noncompetes are general disfavored in the law unless it has specific provisions. For example, in Louisiana, all noncompetes are illegal unless they include specific provisions related to geographical areas affected by the agreement.

So now you’re saying there was only one criminal event, and that was second degree falsification, and the statute of limitations for that had already passed, so you have 34 non felonies that he couldn’t even have been convicted of.
