After a lengthy hiatus due to bad knees resulting in knee replacement and then months of rehab, I'm back on the trail tomorrow to resume walking the #NorthDownsWay. Looks like a nice day in store so the 13 miles from Oxted to Otford should be a good re-introduction.

Motivated partly by having been to Santiago de Compostela last year & circumstances having meant that we did #NottheCamino & also more indirectly by walking the #NorthDownsWay 13 years ago which, because s it takes in Canterbury, is also in part a historic pilgrim route 4/5

I’m back at Capel-le-Ferne for… #GoingAroundtheUKCoastAgain Day 142 For the first time since October, I’m not walking any side projects. It was here I headed inland on the #NorthDownsWay & #SaxonShoreWay so now I’m back to tourism, and visiting the Battle of Britain Memorial.
Great day, but could’ve done without all the logistic issues. I guess I’ve been spoilt recently having just walked a well maintained #NorthDownsWay Anyway I’m sure It was far more enjoyable than it would have been if I’d stayed at home to watch the #FACup Final 😂😂
