A really cool idea for REPL: The 'explain' command that takes a piece of code and describes its every part in a beginner-friendly way. I don't recall any programming language doing this. Here's my prototype for OCaml 👇 What do you think?

Current status: running Rust on the GPU via wasm->opencl! Steps: Compile test-app into wasm, use my "wasm-ocl" I've been writing to translate wasm into opencl, then use a little ocl-runner app to execute the kernel.

Day 15 Learning JavaScript. Wrapped up the HTML part of the calculator today. The more I build projects, the more JavaScript starts to make sense. It’s crazy how practice really changes everything.Tomorrow I’ll style it and make it functional. Step by step progress is progress

Was told OCaml was fast. Then I tried to validate some UTF-8 and Base64 encode/decode. Anyway, I'm now integrating simdutf. Dropping into C++ feels like heresy, but the performance of the pure #OCaml options is a statistical error. 💀
