@SeguraOSD and @SuneThomsenDK finally meet in-person at #MMSMOA 2023. - #OSDBuilder brought us together and we have been friends ever since 😃🙏
#OSD 23.5.9.1 has been updated with #PatchTuesday updates for #OSDBuilder powershellgallery.com/packages/OSD/2… Yes, that is the #LCU for #Windows11 22H2 in the picture
#OSD 23.8.8.1 was released and includes yesterday's #PatchTuesday updates for #OSDBuilder #OSDCloud gets updated DriverPack catalogs and an modified Startnet (Edit-OSDCloudWinPE will add the modifications) to your #WinPE
I used #OSDBuilder 24.10.8.1 to import the Windows 11 24H2 May 2025 ISO. At first, I thought it wouldn't work because it was stuck in the Capabilities. I went to lunch and when I came back, it was finished ;-) Now we'll see if we can use it.
Is PowerShell Gallery having a day or just me not seeing this months #OSDSUS updates? Latest verison in PS Gallery is: 23.4.12.2 #OSDBuilder
#OSD and #OSDSUS have both been updated to 23.9.19.1 This update brings September updates to #OSDBuilder from last week's #PatchTuesday Ping @miketerrill @PotentEngineer
Hi @SeguraOSD, I have 2 #OSDBuilder servers + OSD 24.10.8.1. 1st one has 23.2.21.1 & 2nd one 24.10.8.1 of #OSDBuilder. On the 1st, LCU 2024-10 is not downloaded/installed, only LCU 2024-07 :-( On the 2nd, LCU 2024-10 is installed only on Win 10 22H2. Is this the known issue?
Happy New Years as well! As for your question about #OSDBuilder I did have some updates coming and have submitted this to be presented at #MMSMOA (see pic) You're welcome to DM me if you want to contribute to these updates if you need something faster!
I haven't had a chance to dig in on this one, but it looks like #OSDBuilder is not happy with ADK 11 24H2. Not having this issue with ADK 11 22H2. 😥 @gwblok @SeguraOSD @jarwidmark
You can use WSUSXML which is part of the #OSD Module, which was updated. WSUSXML is used by #OSDCloud #OSDBuilder #OSDSUS was not updated and is used by OSDSUS and #WimWitch. ETA Sunday. I usually prioritize work on WSUSXML during the work week
I would say that feature is removed just like in Windows Server 2022 but I haven't tested it yet: github.com/manelrodero/OS… In this case using #OSDBuilder to remove it from the WIM.
This is extremely important. If you are using #OSDBuilder or #WIMWitch or any other media refresh tools, please take note of this support article and follow instructions to update your boot files as part of media refresh.
Security hardening changes are available to address CVE-2023-24932. See additional guidance and manual steps required for devices using Secure Boot: support.microsoft.com/help/5025885
It's there, just an issue with datetime so I had to fix it in the repo real quick, but it should work in #OSDBuilder without any modifications Thanks for pointing it out!
#OSDBuilder was updated to 24.10.8.1 today with some initial support for #Windows11 24H2. You can now download the updated Windows Media from OSDBuilder (its using #OSDCloud catalogs) You'll also need to grab #OSD 24.10.8.1 first Ping @gwblok @miketerrill @manelrodero
I've deployed this VM with Windows 11 24H2 and the bare minimum. I'll now install the latest ADK and the module for offline servicing. After that I'll copy everything over from the server. From then on, the WIMs will be modified here ;-) #MDT #OSDBuilder #DISM
To be fair, I tried to walk away as I thought it was going to fade out when MS started doing monthly updated media, but #OSDBuilder and the #Community won't let me break up. It reminds me of this episode ...
I'm already jealous of all those who will be able to see you live at #MMSMOA ... I'll settle for what can be explained/shown after these events ;-) I wish you all the success you've had just like your previous projects! #OSDCloud #OSDBuilder
I hope that WIM appears around the same time as Patch Tuesday (LCU). The ISO in the Admin Portal takes a while to appear. As of today, the latest one have the June 2025 patches. I don't understand why they take so long to update. With #OSDBuilder it only took a few minutes, LOL

Interesting. I'm joining the thread to find out the solution, although it didn't happen to us with the last WIM image we were able to build with #OSDbuilder a few months ago.

You should be using a Client OS to offline service a Client OS, there are differences. Also, your host should be the same version or newer. If you don't believe me, please check with @jarwidmark The next version of #OSDBuilder will require this.
First impression is #OSDBuilder is not installing the Checkpoint update first from the screenshot. Select the updates manually and they should/might run in that order.
Keep in mind this screenshot is from #OSDBuilder which hasn't been functionally updated in some time. The issue may be with OSDBuilder, not the LCU so let's all relax and not accuse Microsoft of screwing up again.
I've already watched the webinar and it looks pretty good for being the replacement for #MDT+#OSDBuilder. Now we just need to know what prices there will be for education and how the support for installations with multiple languages will be (when applying the OS and updates).
I missed the event :-/ I hope the video will be available soon on @2pintsoftware's YT channel ;-) We would like to take a look at the product with the idea of having something to replace our current #MDT + #OSDBuilder duo that have become somewhat obsolete.

Will #OSDCloud v2 be able to create WIM/ISO images (a la #OSBuilds) or will you leave that for #OSDBuilder v2?
Hahaha. I don't actually have any ARM devices at hand ;-) But I'm really looking forward to the conferences where you'll present all the new technology you're working on so we can enjoy them (although if I can try #OSDBuilder before then you know you can count on me ;-)
Don't worry, I can wait. I've already bothered you enough with the issue of having the new version of #OSDBuilder that works well with Windows 11 24H2 ;-)
I've asked my managers and they don't have the budget to send me :-/ I'll have to settle for being able to help you test the new version of #OSDBuilder from a distance. By the way, when will #OSD 24.12.x or 25.01.x be released? Mainly to be able to generate updated #OSBuilds.

Thanks for the updates. I hope that next year these improvements will also be useful for #OSDBuilder. Happy New Year's Eve to both of you and your families!

#OSD 23.5.9.1 has been updated with #PatchTuesday updates for #OSDBuilder powershellgallery.com/packages/OSD/2… Yes, that is the #LCU for #Windows11 22H2 in the picture
Today I installed #OSD 23.12.13.1 expecting to find Windows 11 23H2 Build 2861. But either it is not or #OSDBuilder 23.2.21.1 is not able to use the new format of the updates. @SeguraOSD & @gwblok, what do you think? Thanks.
Possible? This would have to be a Community contribution as I'm only committing to monthly updates for #OSDBuilder and not adding new functionality After spending 7+ hours on this UUP change over the last 2 days and still not having a solution, I'm even more inclined to EOL
I'll keep an eye on the #WIMWitch fork although I'm already quite used to the command line with #OSDBuilder. Regarding the updated ISO, I would like Microsoft to be a little faster in releasing it. There is still the December version ;-)
I think the problem with installing the LCU on Windows 10 22H2 with #OSDBuilder is now solved. I enabled the --verbose option and checked the logs to see that an SSU could not be found within the CAB. I couldn't open the CAB from File Explorer either because it was corrupt ;-)
Confirmed. I have imported the Windows 10 22H2 ISO corresponding to December 2023. I have tried to install the January 2024 updates and it FAILED :-/ Tomorrow I will look at the logs in depth and that error code in case there are any clues. PS: ADK 10.0.25398.1 #OSDBuilder
Thank you very much for the warning Johan ;-) I was testing all versions of the OSD module during the month of December and could not find LCU. I assume that Gary/David managed to obtain the correct information to be able to download and apply the update. #OSDBuilder
