Testing @intel #OpenImageDenoise inside #b3d. Not fast enough for real-time on my ancient Ivy Bridge machine. Quick and dirty hack into the drawing code, not taking advantage of albedo and normal buffers yet.

Playing with the Intel #OpenImageDenoise v1.4.0 is just amazing how it can manage the denoising with only 1 sample per pixel. I'm looking forward to testing it more thoroughly this weekend.

Back to the random walk sss implementation again. Here is a lovely crab with 0.3 weight radius 1, 2 and 8 (and a weight 1). Love how random walk preserves the small details even in high sss radius. btw big thanks to @intel #openimagedenoise hunting those nasty fireflies.
