Two seperate stops, #Heanor & #longeaton. Both trailers missing their secondary couplings. On stopped after travelling at 70mph on motorway. 2nd identifies other issues with sharp edges protruding. Prohibition from movement until rectified. Both drivers reported. #opsbikes

As part of an ongoing operation in the #chesterfield area, targeting the illegal use of off-road motorbikes, illegal electric bikes and electric scooters, local police alongside our team, have successfully seized 15 bikes this week. #opsbikes

Stopped & given friendly advice not to ride these as illegal. Advised to walk. Owner knew better & got back on to ride off. Stopped again. Turns out disqual driver. #seized and reported for no insurance & disqual drive. Please don't buy these for use on public roads. #opsbikes

Afternoons for #OpsBikes with a variety of jobs ranging from disruption off road bikes in local parks, to dealing with numerous RTA offences, including Red Lights, window tints, MOT, speeding, seatbelts, due care, mobile phones, zigzags & taxi defects! All in a days work!

Our #OpsBikes have been out working with Matrix, firearms and MVET teams today, to tackle those causing ASB and committing crime on E-Bikes and Electric Motorcycles. Several bikes recovered including a stolen bike and several arrests made throughout the day. Excellent teamwork

Excellent work yesterday following a report of a theft of moped in St Helens. RPU & @MerPolDogs on scene quickly, recovering the stolen moped. Moped used by offenders to commit the offence located by #OpsBikes with theft ‘toolkit’ still inside bike. #OvertoCSI #Teamwork
