Often, pain scale tools are used for individuals displaying distress...but what if that isn’t pain? What alternative tools could health care professionals use to document distress, compare with content behaviour and see if there is a pattern to the distress? #DisDAT #PCPLD2020

Thoughts after the #PCPLD2020 webinar today - the DisDAT can clarify how distress is communicated and help rationalise onward referrals/ advocate for further investigations to find out 'what's wrong'. This can be part of the hospital passport!
