"For the long term, to maximize production potential, we must enhance our handling, export infrastructure, and storage systems — unless we opt to limit exports to flexi tanks and ISO tanks, which is in small scale, yielding to low export potential” -Najem #PalmOilReport

Ramses Najem: "You will struggle to sell your palm oil if the quality is poor, so that's something to pay attention to. Infrastrucure for export is also something to look into. Even if Nigeria has excess palm oil to export, it is difficult to do." #PalmOilReport

An important problem to solve to boost oil palm production is access to land. Many farmers say they find it diffuclt to access land, especially for longterm farming like oil palm. #VestanceReport #PalmOilReport

"A cluster has the infrastructure needed: seed, fertilizer, extension, processing, storage. We can pull smallholder farmers into the cluster. Presco and Okomu are doing it as well. Put farmers together within a 25km radius and teach them what to do."- Dr Onadeko. #PalmOilReport
