Nothing wrong with this beginner's code of mine but did you know some programmers prefer to "escape" bugs by using comments?? 😅😅 Hide your problems if you can, they say. Lol
Programming isn't like playing an instrument or speaking a language: whether you started coding at 5 or 20 makes no difference to your skill at 30. Programming is about clarity of thought and the ability to build and manipulate mental models, not mechanics like syntax or typing.
Did we fail our kids or are they failing us? Probably, sadly, mostly the former. But so sad. And at some point as kids turn into adults they start to get the blame no matter what.
