Ja und nein. Neue / neu strukturierte Parteien könnten auch attraktiv für ganz neue Leute sein. Ich möchte das aber gewiss nicht herbeireden. Ein #PartyRealignment kann schnell (zB innert 2 Jahren) gehen, aber auch über Jahrzehnte.
Strukturell sind die Parteien (außer SPD) stark in Landesverbänden organisiert, und die könnten mehrheitlich so oder anders kippen (bitte nicht nur 2-dimensional denken). #PartyRealignment ist in ganz unterschiedlichen Szenarien vorstellbar.

Post-Lincoln, US parties shifted: Reps once anti-slavery, pro-central govt. Rep focus changed to big biz, limited govt. Dems embraced progressivism, helping people, regulating corps. Gradual shift, influenced by Great Depression, Civil Rights. Parties evolved. #PartyRealignment
