Agreed. PA had 45 players on their roster. They didn’t have the depth to compete in 7A. They did in 6A. PA has 380 students from 9-12 grade and competing with schools with 2,000+ students in same grades. 😭😭

A big issue is that teachers are overloaded with info. They must be given time to master one thing before having others added to prevent cognitive overload. Also, I think it’s important that leaders ask teachers why some things aren’t being implemented rather than guessing why.

We have some serious problems with our city schools. PPS in a downward spiral is accelerating without the Gifted School.

One issue is the teachers dress like students. There’s no generational difference observed so kids don’t take them serious. Also, parents spend few hours with kid compared to teacher. Then teacher blames parent. Parents barely raise their kids. System is broken.

I respect this greatly. My ex girlfriend taught in the Passaic school system. A large percentage of students (black or otherwise) simply had no interest whatsoever in education or being in school at all. How do we change this (what actually matters)?

I think there are a number of issues, but there are a few that stand out. * public schools have a large portion of kids that are REQUIRED to be there because they live in the district. Many of those kids would never get the time of day from a private school.

They get plenty of money, more money won’t make a difference. Horrific ciriculum, bad teachers and lower standards are the issues. More money laundering is not the solution.

The lecturer is expected to lecture a class of 250 students in a dehumanizing condition. He's expected to shout at the top of his voice because there's no PAS. The lecturer is aware that his working condition is very bad but how can he go about it? Strike?
