If a grifter tries to raise talking points, it's perfectly acceptable to focus on the grift rather than the spurious subject matter. Alex Epstein ("philosopher" & "fossil fuel expert") is an example. All such material can be classified under the broad heading of #PredatoryDelay.
This persistent notion that anyone who drives a car is a "hypocrite" & therefore we shouldn't listen to them about the #climatecrisis is the dumbest & yet most common form of #predatorydelay. "Hey I heard that Jesus drank non-biodynamic wine so he's a hypocrite about climate."
