A3: Top global brands by value. I'd say as far as reputation goes, @Microsoft gets come-back-kid of the decade. #PrimeTimePRchat
Qlearly (@QlearlyHQ) is a good way to keep your tool stack front and center every time you open your browser. I use it to organise my tools according to what they do. #PrimeTimePRchat

One thing that worries me a lot about journalism, especially at the highest levels, is that reporters and editors share a similar culture lens, (Ivy) educational background, and don't devote enough attention to "flyover states." #PrimeTimePRchat
A2: Strategic, Innovative, Creative and a cocktail of many more attributes... Leadership etc. #PrimeTimePRChat
Hey everyone! Ted Kitterman here from Ragan's PR Daily. #PrimeTimePRchat
In fact, IMHO, any PR pro organising a media list in Excel is an old dinosaur not keeping up with the 21st century :-) #PrimeTimePRchat
In this time and age #CSR is table stakes. While COVID-19 certainly laid bare the already-existing inequities of the world, it also highlighted the role the private sector can do to help society – and it is critical now more than ever. #PrimeTimePRchat
Change is hard and uncomfortable! Sometimes it is easier to avoid the elephant than to address it - but that is not the right thing to do! There is good in change and power in speaking up. We need people to take a stand and be a #superspreader for good change! #PrimeTimePRchat
Hi, it's Jeff from JD/PR in Baltimore, looking forward to participating in #PrimeTimePRchat

@JuliaAngelenPR Haven't connected with you in a while, so I hope all is well! How are things in Idaho? When is the next #PrimeTimePRChat?
Yes, @Tess_Townsend @janeathon. When confronted w/reality that full objectivity can't be 100% achieved, we must mitigate intensifying degrees of bias w/journalistic ethics. @spj_tweets' Code directly addresses these issues; often ignored. #PrimeTimePRchat
When covering the results of the election, keep in mind that neither speed nor format excuses inaccuracy. Journalists should gather, update and correct information throughout the life of a news story. Use the SPJ Code of Ethics to guide your reporting: bit.ly/3oQFqml

As mentioned, I think @pewresearch offers the largest library of public-perception data on #journalism / media news reporting issues (including #bias). I recommend you peruse their website. Here's another study that's interesting. #PrimeTimePRchat pewresearch.org/global/2018/01…
Hi, Stephanie -- Sure. I think data is important, and while there isn't nearly enough of it on this subject (it's quite unpopular within academia & media to be called out for bias, so it's rarely explored), there are some numbers. #PrimeTimePRchat
Which suggests we need to better educate people about editorial lines and how they impact what is reported. Also, the difference between journalism and reporting. Reporting and opinion and how to evaluate media output #PrimeTimePRchat
Some @PewResearch data documents extent of public distrust in news media... and it ain't pretty, folks. #PrimeTimePRchat pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020…
There's a phenomenon we should all consider as part of this debate: it's called #ConfirmationBias. When too many people of near-total like-minded ideology get in 1 room and decide what's news (& what's *not*) & how news will be reported & nuanced, it's NOT good. #PrimeTimePRchat
Absolutely. When you've watched the news media operate your entire life in such ever-increasing hostile ways against principles of fairness that you think are right, why would you feel welcomed going into that line of work? #PrimeTimePRchat
Some @PewResearch data documents extent of public distrust in news media... and it ain't pretty, folks. #PrimeTimePRchat pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020…
Fair question. Not sure the most-recent study, but I do know that full surveys of media newsroom composition to evaluate for political bias are not conducted routinely enough. This is a MAJOR issue undermining public trust in media. #PrimeTimePRchat
Fully agree! Media literacy is core to basic civics. #PrimeTimePRchat
Or maybe those students with conservative ideology / leanings who enter journalism in college are off-put by liberal dogmas of the profession. Or maybe they face some discrimination in hiring process if their views are known by hiring mngrs. Needs to be explored. #PrimeTimePRChat
They brand themselves as news. They claim to be news. They report news. They analyze news. They have "reporters" and "anchors" and "news desks" and "assignment editors" and "news feeds." They're regulated by the FCC. If it looks like a duck... #PrimeTimePRchat
Woohoo! Sounds like a few folks from the #PrimeTimePRchat are using Hootsuite as well. Great to see!
