The failure is with the program managers, requirement creep and building before the design finalization. It's just plain incompetence from the program managers, who checks of boxes in power point briefs that doesn't match reality of what is actually done.

One major lesson I've learned so far, is that no matter how brilliant the plans and models are, or how tactical the execution is, once ego takes precedence over reason, downfall is inevitable. I still feel near-physical pain when I see egos ruin the potential of our projects.

1. Start with the problem, not the product. Most projects fail because they never find Product–Market Fit. Builders often jump straight into “what to build” instead of asking: 👉 What problem am I solving, and for whom?

Why Many Projects Really Fail — Honest Lessons for Entrepreneurs 🚀 Most projects don’t collapse because the idea was bad — they fail because the basics were never taken seriously. • No real plan… just hoping it works • Ignoring what customers are actually saying.

Projects fail not because of lack of effort — but because of lack of system. ❌ No daily monitoring → Blind decisions. ❌ No champion → No accountability. ❌ No small targets → No focus. #ProjectFailurePrevention #ebeescorp #ProjectManagementTips #PrimaveraExperts

Construction projects often fail due to poor planning, inadequate budgeting, weak communication, unrealistic schedules, design errors, safety issues, contractor mismanagement, scope creep, insufficient skills, ineffective risk control, and oversight.

Key lessons from the failure:  • Algorithms alone don’t provide stability without reserves  • Rigid pegs are fragile — they can’t absorb volatility  • Reflexive models break under coordinated exits  • Verifiable, onchain reserves matter more than assurances These failure…

One thing the crypto space has taught us is this: projects don’t fail because the idea was bad, they fail because the structure around the idea was weak. Lack of transparency. Poor communication. No real utility. Teams disappearing when pressure rises.

I’ve seen teams celebrate “failure” like it’s a medal -but too often it’s just chaos disguised as progress. True growth comes when we design experiments to learn, not just to fail. If failure is supposed to teach us, this piece shows how to design it so it actually does:…

Why Good Projects Fail and How Strategic Advocacy Can Save Them “Every development project…is inherently political. A zoning approval or environmental review is not just a box to check; it’s a flashpoint for debate.” The post Why Good Projects Fail and How Strategic Advocacy…

every failed marketing campaign has a lesson not just in creative misfires but in systems that didn’t support the ambition.

Birb, I like you, so I waited before answering. But deep down, you'll see that every failed project is a failure of personal virtue, not circumstances. I've been there; in retrospect, all my professional failures were due to lack of resilience, and this applies to everyone.…

Note to self: Reframe failure constantly. Instead of viewing a setback (a failed project, a rejection) as a sign of inadequacy, view it as a training exercise. Ask: "What did this experience force me to learn or improve?"

It depends on your notion of "failure". Are the projects dead? Yes. Did we learn something while doing them? Yes. Did the projects help educate students on databases? Yes. Did we cross-pollinate ideas with China/Europe? Yes. This is research. Ideas/projects will fail.
