PyGithub Access GitHub's REST API with ease using PyGitHub, a Python library for interacting with GitHub repositories and users! #PyGitHub #GitHubAPI
Just figured out #PyGithub. A revelation after struggling with #github api, #curl and #bashscripts. Everything is better with #python.
Thanks @sigmavirus24 for #github3py. I was struggling through #PyGithub bugs, gave up and swapped yours in and it all Just Works (tm)!
API used: developer.github.com/v3/ Used libraries: #PyGithub, #bokeh
+1 For now, I have setup a python script to do this. Feel free to use it: gist.github.com/chaithyagr/010… It is bare minimum, but it helps to keep issues organized in timelines. Based on notion and github APIs, using #pygithub and #notion_py @NotionHQ , I hope you get this feature!
I'm loving #PyGithub but I *really* wish the author didn't choose to use his own GithubObject.NotSet everywhere instead of a None type...
I must be doing something wrong. I'm using the #PyGithub library in a #python script to obtain PRs from @github but even with 20(!?) retries set, the thing fails before pulling down 200 entries. We're not talking a consistent failure point either, sometimes I get only 19 rows.
Using the github api from python is simply a bliss with #PyGithub github.com/jacquev6/PyGit…

Gitana uses #PyGithub , #GitPython , #python-bugzilla and #slacker to analyze software project data buff.ly/2lgIZ5k
Hard to find how, but easy to do: updating a file in a @Github repo through the API with @Python's #pygithub: gist.github.com/nottrobin/3fe6…
