Querido, estoy de acuerdo con los que te han respondido. Esto suele ser error de un ejemplar o de un pequeño número de ejemplares, no de la edición completa. Gracias por la confianza, en todo caso 🥰😘😘

does the book make the same error as this post? x.com/RealBenjizo/st…

The error is indeed also in the print version - a friend sent me this photo of an imported copy he found in a Shanghai bookstore. /cc @AdAstraFiction @HoZ_Books @BloomsburyBooks

Yep. Skipped it. Just found two typos in my book that I just sent out all the hardcover copies for. AND the typos weren't in the copyedited manuscript. Which means they somehow occurred during book formatting.

By now, I think it's on purpose. I don't think the author is stupid, and certainly understands the error. The author is a skilled writer and purposefully phrased a correction on this very public discussion in a way that leaves ambiguity as to the severity of the error.

The litany of errors in the book are not contained to this case. While an error this big should give anyone pause, it could have been the case that everything else held up fine. But it doesn't.

One such error/typo was: scones instead of scones in "Frosted-glass sconces bathed the room in warm light." 🤦‍♀️ I'm partially dyslexic, & therefore, rely on 3 spellcheckers & kind beta/proof readers. All of us (& the spellcheckers) must have been too hungry to catch this!

It is a truth universally acknowledged that only after publishing a book must the author find the most embarrassing typos!😊 If you have already got Killer Quill, please know that I've just updated it, fixing those sneaky typos!

I can’t speak for Kumata but if it helps, I brought my hardcover copy from Amazon and it contains the same errors in their photographs

as the kind of obscure error that commonly happens and doesn’t impugn a book when it does. It needs to be corrected, but it’s not indicative of any great failure for having made it."

Sad to say that I'm incredibly disappointed at the total lack of proofreading in this book. The new entries (those not copy/pasted from the original) full of spelling, grammar and factual errors that are apparent right away and would've been easy to correct. Very amateurish.

The person pointing out the error (Karen has publicly supplied sources for) is one of the people pushing "the spread of extremely inaccurate claims as misinformation". It *may* be an error (which can be corrected in the next print run) but it has 1% impact on the excellent book

😮 are you getting this error on a mobile device or laptop?
