For reflective reading, we worked in pairs to complete a jigsaw jumble. We discussed the features of instructional writing then, ordered the steps to make a cup of tea. Excellent effort and concentration from all pupils! #ReflectiveReading #ShortRead
Today, we used our reading skills to develop questions for a passage we had read. We created questions which use different skills when reading (from the comprehension compass). These were then collated and we answered them too! #reflectivereading
P7/6 are embracing our school focus on #ReflectiveReading and developing their reading comprehension skills by using Task Maps to independently explore texts ✏️ 📚 @anneglennie @McgeeverSharon @EdISGlasgow
