Any team that loses 100+ games has nearly everything go wrong. Pitching, offense, injuries, manager, etc. The #Royals have had seven 100-loss season in their existence. This team is not 100-loss bad. However, anything short of the postseason is a disappointment.
I think that the 30 game improvement in 2024 was a huge overcorrection. Add in a combustible bullpen and questionable management, and 100 losses is looking very possible in 2026.
