Just finished the SDR++ Network Source. With it you can trivially import baseband live from any software that can output IQ to network. For this demo, I use #GNUradio to generate a FM signal and send it over TCP to SDR++. It is now available in the latest nightly. #sdr #sdrpp
Wrote a decoder for VOR aeronautical beacons. Here I'm receiving two VORs near my university (so no I'm not doxxing myself...). Seems there is a bug causing a static offset in the estimated bearing but once fixed it should allow to triangulate the position of the #sdr! #sdrpp
Finally, #sdrpp on @Raspberry_Pi 5 with 8 GB memory @ubuntu 24.04 LTS. I will test with hackrf one. #hamradio
More or less finished the DSP for the SDR++ Analog Video decoder. The VSB auto gain control still needs a bit of work but I think it's already better than every other SDR analog video decoders out there with how fast it locks and how stable it is. #sdr #sdrpp

You can now add custom frequency offsets in SDR++! Simply click the + button, type in a name and offset and click apply. This is now available in the latest nightly build! sdrpp.org/nightly #sdr #sdrpp
SDR++ now supports copy/pasting from the frequency selector. When pasting to SDR++, it'll decipher the suffix to correctly interpret strings like "122.5 MHz", "4558K", etc. When copying from SDR++, it formats it in a similar easily readable way instead of just Hz. #sdr #sdrpp

Since the SDR++ AArch64 builds are now confirmed stable, the 32bit arm builds will be discontinued some time during July. I therefore recommend those still running 32bit #RaspberryPi OS images to upgrade. #sdr #sdrpp
I looked through my archives, and it turns out #NOAA18 was the very first satellite I ever received back on August 9th 2018 at 19:39 UTC. I have a (partial) baseband recording off the pass so I re-processed it with SDR++'s noise reduction. #sdr #sdrpp Good memories!

The @NuandLLC #BladeRF source module in SDR++ now supports selecting the clock input. Strange that I forgot to implement this until now... #sdr #sdrpp
