With respect, I wasn’t ever talking about #SEND . I was talking about children that roll up to mainstream in about yr 8-9 having been “homeschooled” and have absolutely no literacy or numeracy skills because their parents felt that educating them was taking them on day trips.
Whether or not a child has #SEND spouting your own amazing and rather judgemental assumptions isn’t useful is it?

@futureacademies should not accept children at phased transfer if they cannot meet their needs and if they cannot meet need IAR should be called with clear communication between LA Sch and Parents. If #SEND children cannot be adjusted to say no to their admission @CityWestminster
