At #SPSP2024, @M_Korlacka presented findings that higher trait #SelfCompassion is related to less variability in negative affect. This suggests that self-compassion may protect against emotional dysregulation & imbalance. @aleecekatan @M_Grove_ @allison_kelly @gilchrist_jenna
MA student @M_Grove_ presented her and @allison_kelly 's early findings at #SPSP2024. Listening to a peer cope with #SelfCompassion vs. not, led to greater perceived benefit of self-compassion, but did not impact the listener's self-compassionate behaviour after 2-4 days.
