Made some progress! They have a service called PDS (Personal Data Server) which contains all user data, where each user has their own SQLite db. They push new changes from SQLite to Scylla. How are the changes from SQLite observed - through changesets or by monitoring WAL?
I learned that Bue Sky uses one SQLite database per user, as God intended. Where can I read more about its high level architecture?
somehow I didn't know about sq.io until a month ago much more than just "jq for databases": inspect schemas, detect data types, even do joins and diffs across different DBs (eg. compare schema across mysql & postgres) and legit Open Source like back in the day
