#SingleJusticeProcedure - yet another miscarriage of justice in #England. No doubt @BBCNewsnight and @vicderbyshire will be on the case. #TheRottenHeartOfEngland


The #singlejusticeprocedure needs to be completely stopped until a new more balanced system can be put in place that can cope with circumstances you continually highlight, such as this case.


The circumstances under which people are prosecuted under the #SingleJusticeProcedure are just appalling. Mitigating circumstances are never taken into consideration let alone it appears ever read by judges.

A young mum declared her car off-road & parked it on the drive Wanting to access the bonnet, she did a 3-point turn. Car stalled & a DVLA officer came along Prosecuted in the #SingleJusticeProcedure Convicted. Ordered to pay £215 to the DVLA & £85 costs Staggering
