#100DaysOfGatsby Day 23: just added some CSS so that my #algolia integration looks less ugly. I'm also using #ThemeUI so Challenge 4 done ✅. Tomorrow I'm going to try something funny with some auto-generated images.

We love #ThemeUI and the flexibility it gives us, but we've actually decided to just use the important parts of the package. It turns out the <Box> component adds a lot of bloat onto your bundles.

I didn‘t have the “&” earlier so this is how to do it. Not bad #themeUI quite intuitive

how do I target data-attributes like img[data-loading] or img[data-lqip] in #themeUI?

Working with @GatsbyJS + #ThemeUI + @Storybookjs + @MDX_JS provides a very nice DX. The only issue so far is the missing props when rendering @ReactJS compound components when using`<Props of={CompoundComponent} />`. I recall a similar issue when testing @blocks_ui few weeks ago.

I started crying about it as it was completely new to me, after investing time and effort to understand i ended up loving it. Loving #themeUI with @GatsbyJS, Thank you for building @jxnblk Will defiantly map out my journey from SCSS to Theme UI. #100DaysOfCode #CodeNewbie

Man am struggling with #themeui and #emotion, I am on edge to switch back to @SassCSS ❤ Does anybody have a implementation of the same #gatsbyjs existing docs are pretty limited. #100DaysOfCode #cssinjs #JamStack

#ThemeUI in the picture. You can prerender this, so you don't even need JavaScript in the browser. We can think of CSS-in-JS like we think of Sass. It's just a language to author the styles. theme-ui.com/components/but…

Getting my hands dirty with #ThemeUI in @gatsbyjs.

#styledsystem and #themeui peeps - a question on "space" scale. Often in the 8pt grid I see the 4px unit introduced to allow smaller *half of 8* control. But the DX is affected when you try to use space[x] ... any good documentation around this?

If you're confused about styles for your #React app, #ThemeUI is one of the best ways to handle styles actually. In this post, I'll introduce it to you and show it's real benefits. 👉🏻 Check the post on Instagram: instagram.com/p/CBV0okcJlHU/… #javascript #css #codegeass

Really enjoyed @scotups NextJS course it's really good. I am using nextjs for long time but he showed really cool technique and gist that we are missing. must checkout frontendmasters.com/courses/next-j… #nextjs #ssr #themeui #frontendmasters

I know an abstraction nailed it when I try to use it in projects where it isn’t available. #themeui strikes again.

Last week I was working with the fullpage lib for the first time. And that was the result ➡ lps-simulare.vercel.app I will soon be publishing an article, detailing a little more about how it was built😉. But, already giving a spoiler, it was used: #nextjs #themeui ...

Day 10/11 of #100DaysOfCode i spent most of my time in fixing some bugs in my internship project. I also learned about #themeui which is a great framework. I'm also planning on creating a website using #nextjs.

Amazing work @jxnblk!! 👏 Highly recommend to check it out: theme-ui.com #StyledSystem #ThemeUI #DesignSystems

What's the latest on #styledsystem and/or #themeui ? Has everybody moved on to something else? asking before I start up a new project. I really loved the styledsystem experience CC @jxnblk

I just published a project I've been working on for the past month Transforming Ideas into Action on @hashnode, I decided to enter this project for the #VercelHashnode hackathon. #themeUI #Nextjs #firebase #reactjs #vercelhashnode robogeek95.hashnode.dev/transforming-i…

As a fun technical aside, the model is built entirely in JavaScript and runs in the browser, with the front-end powered by #themeui #nextjs and running on @vercel — thanks to all the developers of these great open source tools! (6/7)
