#ThreadsOfLegacy was possible because of partnership, shared belief, and collective action. We are grateful to our partners like the @reachahand, for hosting us qmd standing with us in advancing dignity, visibility and wellbeing for older persons.

#ThreadsOfLegacy was beyond just a showcase. It is was a shift in how we see and treat our elders. Ageing has been associated with decline, silence, and invisibility. On valentines day 2026 we chose a different story!

This year’s Valentine’s Day looked different. Through #ThreadsOfLegacy, we chose to celebrate love across generations, honouring our elders while they are still here, while their wisdom is alive, and while their stories can still guide us.
