Wanted to run a TypeScript file quickly. Noticed that I am lacking some fundamental knowledge about TypeScript execution tools like tsc, ts-node and tsx. Took a deep dive and wrote an article to share my learnings. Hope someone will find value in it. Link in the comments 👇

That was it. We decided it was time to ditch our language and just use TypeScript. Syntax is almost the same, and we get most of the IDE tooling for free. Also no more weird “language” vibes. We shipped it as an experimental feature and devs immediately jumped on it.
