Ever noticed there's always a '4' in #UUIDv4? 🧐 That's because it's baked right into the 7th octet to indicate the version. It's always in the same spot: `xxxxxxxx-xxxx-4xxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx` 🔍 Once you see it, you can't unsee it. 🙈 #TechTrivia #RFC9562 #RFC

I'm trying to collect real-world performance differences between #UUIDv7 (and #ULID) and standard #UUIDv4 primary keys for both #sqlite and #PostgreSQL in my application. Despite a week of solid effort, many tests, and loads of data, I cannot observe a measurable difference. 🙃
