Used to trap #ultracold atoms, our gold atom chip was microfabricated by @KNTnano. Thanks to @STFCmatters for wire bonding the chip. Using their automatic bonder machine, ~500 electrical wires (each thinner than a human hair) are perfectly attached in just minutes! #quantumtech
