I use Juvenalian satire because there are subjects too corrupt, manipulative, or morally obscene to deserve either cushioned wit or meltdowns. Sometimes the only truly honest register is sharpened, calm contempt. Disciplined scorn can be the most exposing. #writers #amwriting
