Not in tenure and most likely never be there but that is not because of choosing to try to have kids. Kids may slow you down but for me they have not closed any doors. We live in Finland 🇫🇮 and kids have Dad. Many examples on #academicmums at our faculty. #teamwork #equalparents

My children turned 6 today. 6 years ago I put my career on hold to focus on being a mum of twins. I didn’t think I’d ever get back on track but now I’m doing a PhD and my kids are the kindest, funniest, happiest kids I could ask for 🥰 funny how life works out #academicmums
