Excellent news about #acmDIS2021 !!!!!
#acmDIS2021 is happening! but as an online conference: The official CFP is still being drafted by the technical program chairs, but expect at least Papers, Pictorials and DC to happen. We will have a website #verysoon but consider the twitter here the official word until then <3
Still few more days left to submit a position paper to our #hri2021 workshop! Keep up writing flow after #acmdis2021 papers are done now ;)
Happy to announce the amazing speakers across academia, art and industry that will take part in our Research-through-Design workshop @HRI_2021: John Zimmerman, @wendyju, @GREGLYNNFORM, Michio Okada, @orenzuckerman and Mari Velonaki. Lots to look forward to!

A moment of appreciation for my 7.5 year old MacBook Pro that has been streaming videos from VLC to @discord for one week straight now without breaking a sweat 😍 #acmDIS2021 @acmdis2021 @videolan
So, thanks SO MUCH to the authors, the various chairs, the SVs who pulled TOO MUCH WORK, to @kashtodi et al. who organized discord and gather, and obviously to Wendy Ju and Lora Oehlberg who stepped up and organized this rescue mission. 4/x
I agree on being concise – and I think word counts are a good metric with recent template changes. CHI '21 suggested 7k–9.5k words: chi2021.acm.org/information/42…. I was just wondering about the examples in the #acmdis2021 CFP, which seemed to imply shorter overall lengths than CHI.
