We've installed over 5000. They let us add sep w/o a road resurf/recon & hold space for future poured curbs (Harbord Hoskin in '24) Only Danforth & some #ActiveTO corridors used off the shelf curbs - where there were wider buffers The #BikeTO design is based on OPSD603.020

I absolutely loved seeing this upgraded curb space transition to bike lanes in the Danforth/Victoria Park area! The planting of native flowers makes the space come alive. I'm not sure who to credit, but keep it going and growing! #activeto @DanforthVillage @TO_Cycling_Ped

Torontos cycling infrastructure is complete garbage. All these beat-up plastic straws and shitty paint on the road. #activeTO is an embarrassment suitable for a third-world city. The same with the wooden crates dumped all over the roads for #cafeTO - absolute trash.
The Jays/Shapiro/Grimes letter to Tory came in June of '22 After the permitted seating capacity was raised...on September 24, 2021, there were never any #ActiveTO road closures on Lake Shore Blvd when the Blue Jays were playing at home

Finally making the W. section of the #ActiveTO #BikeTO Bloor Street cycle track permanent tonight. We are replacing the temp paint lines with reflective durable markings of the proper width, correcting tapers/symbols & adding intersection markings between Avenue & Sherbourne.
ZICLA platforms are being added in the cycle tracks to the #ActiveTO Midtown Complete Streets Pilot on Yonge St. These platforms keep bikeways protected and curbside for people cycling, while also serving as an accessible loading zone with direct and level access to the curb.
