To be clear, so there is no confusion. #AppComposer is now available as an IDE plugin for VSCode. AppComposer ALSO integrates directly with #StepFunctions workflow studio. Therefore, AppComposer AND workflow studio are available in VSCode!! This is so amazing!

Using #StepFunctions Workflow Studio via #AppComposer in @code. I might be late to the party, but I'm glad to see that it now supports definition substitutions. Really good experience 🙌 Reminds me of a happy era when #AWS pushed DX tooling unpolluted by GenAI.

what's the best approach to using step functions with #AppComposer? I tried to use a DefinitionUri and pointing to schema generated from SF studio but no luck :(

If you don’t give us good feedback, we might start experimenting with some of our own #AppComposer ideas: * Randomizing layout of resources so every load becomes a game of hide and seek * Defaulting to PHP runtime * Alert dialogs to confirm every pixel you move a resource
