A7: During PLC time the SPED teachers and gen ed teachers can discuss their observations of the student to try to determine the underlying function of the behaviors, then work together to teach the student preventative strategies to help them manage their behavior. #behaviorcode
A3: Look for patterns in previous behavioral problems, reflect on our own behavior and responses in previous situations, and teach students replacement behaviors. #behaviorcode

Interaction strategy for students who struggle with anxiety: avoid public praise, 2 for 10 (talk for 2 minutes about nothing about school for 10 days), more intonation, greet at door and ask about their interest. @jessica_minahan #behaviorcode #connection
