Water management isn't just about draining sloughs. Excess rainfall at the wrong time causes crop damage and fertilizer losses. Instead of trying to reduce fertilizer emissions by 30%, bigger-picture thinking on water mngmt would have a larger impact. thelifeofafarmer.com/2023/09/16/wat…
