I have had no luck fixing this issue, and frankly it doesn't seem as though either @Dell really cares, nor does @MicrosoftHelps. The only solution that they seem fit to give is to reinstall Windows and basically start over. #BitlockerProblem #Fixit
Hi guys, it would be better to rephrase this as “use OneDrive, before one of our updates locks you out of your pc and lose all your data”. #BitlockerProblem still waiting for a fix which will not result in the loss of all my data.

Please fix the #BitlockerProblem It’s been 3 days since Microsoft’s update locked me out of all my data. I’m getting absolutely no support from you guys, still expecting someone to contact me after giving you my contact details yesterday.

@Microsoft @Windows #BitlockerProblem microsoft i hate you. why would you enable bitlocker by default when a user doesnt have a microsoft acct associated w the computer. i hope somebody realizes they essentially wiped hundreds’ of people’s files

I have exactly the same problem and having spoken to Dell, they say it’s a Microsoft issue 🤬 Seems like the two companies are just pushing the buck, whilst users are locked out of their laptops and unable to work #BitlockerProblem
I Direct messaged you and even spoke to Dell support on the phone. The only solution you offer is wiping my hard drive clean and losing all my data. This is not very helpful at all. So many other users have this problem and lost access to their laptops #BitlockerProblem

@MicrosoftHelps still waiting for your fix to #BitlockerProblem Users locked out of their computers following Windows update. No recovery key in my Microsoft account. It’s totally unacceptable to encrypt people’s machines without their permission, or even notification!

I have exactly the same problem, there’s no recovery key on my Microsoft account, even when login in on different device #BitlockerProblem @DellCares only suggestion is to wipe my hard drive, which is not a great solution 🙁

Solved my #BitLockerproblem! I'd never set up a BL recovery key (never even heard of BL till last week). Couldn't find a BL recovery key in my MS account last week when accessing it on my tablet, but today I accessed it on a different laptop...and there's the key! And it works!

I had the #BitlockerProblem too, @MicrosoftHelps didn't help do anything but tell me to reinstall Windows and lose all the data.
So file recovery / backup options are out of the question too..because obviously I need a #BitlockerProblem #bitlocker recovery password to load the OS / attempt data recovery. I wonder where this non-existent password might be 🤔 .... @MicrosoftHelps Plz give us a fix 🙏🙏
